Don’t you love it when God gives us specific instructions? That is what happened with Phillip and Ananais in the scriptures below.

“Go south to the road - the desert road - that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaze. So he (Phillip) started out and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch…The Spirit told Philip - Go to that chariot and stay near it.”

Acts. 8:26

Guest Post: Building the Dream

It has been probably pretty close to a year since I wrote a blog about my dream for my ministry.  It was an act of faith to put down on paper what I felt Papa was showing me and honestly a bit on the scary side for a recovering performance-based girl like me.  What if I define this and I never even get close to accomplishing it? Is that a failure? Does that speak to my worth? I asked myself these and other questions but in the end the vision burned too brightly in my head for me to not write the words, so I did.

Big fish don’t waste energy.

That comment wasn’t from my friend, it was from God.

Something about that phrase stuck with me. It stayed in my head for the next few hours we were on the water… because I am a big fish, but I have wasted a lot of energy in my life because I didn’t KNOW I was a big fish and I didn’t know how to act like one. I am really good at acting like a little fish who is always working on figuring out how to get my next meal and, even though I know what size fish I am now, I continue to act small sometimes without even realizing it.
