A Real Gift

A Real Gift

The holidays are hectic times for most of us. In these waning days of 2022, we hope to be able to gather with family and friends, reflect on the past, and look forward to the future. And we begin thinking about Christmas gift giving.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from our MAP Global family to yours!

May the Lord Jesus Himself richly bless you this Christmas with his presence anew.

Until He returns, may the year be full of rich blessings of purpose in life and your one-of-a-kind calling.

Please let us know how we can be praying for you in 2023.

Dustin Price & the MAP Global Team

Thank You!

You have made such a meaningful impact in so many lives this year! If you are receiving this email it is because you are a valuable partner of MAP Global and/or a Partner Ministry! Would you please prayerfully consider a year-end contribution for the MAP Partner you support or for MAP Global directly? Your generous gift is truly making a Global impact!

MAP Global welcomes Mountains of His Glory!

It is our great pleasure to welcome Mountains of His Glory as our newest MAP Global Ministry Partner!

Colleen Moses has been a long time friend of MAP Global and a faithful servant in the Great Commission.

Colleen says, “From hearing God’s call on my life to saying “yes, Lord send me” I have seen God act upon my prayers as a life in process to fulfilling His great plan and destiny upon my life. Through stepping out in faith and activity desiring to be nothing more than the hands and feet of Christ through love, I have witnessed many, salvations, miracles and deliverances in my journey by the power of the Holy Spirit. Since that hearing of God’s call over my life many years ago, I have been searching through faith as one who seriously considers myself as “sent” as His Ambassador to the nations. God is the one who does the leading as I walk out my faith in trusting His will and His guidance.”

“It is my greatest joy and my life’s purpose to be reaching the children who suffer the most and are living in small communities in Uganda where they are experiencing the greatest poverty. These are children who every day wonder where their next meal will come. This has led my heart to become greatly burdened for these little ones. Many of whom are either orphans, refugees or simply disadvantaged by environmental issues and or life’s trials and struggles.

My goal is to bring awareness of this humanitarian issue but more importantly to seek ways of instilling hope through Jesus Christ that they each one of them have a future and destiny by God’s plan and design.”

God of the Path

Psalm 25:4 - 5

Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths: guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long.

I love to hike.  I love being outdoors and enjoying the sights and smells of nature.  But I can honestly say that I have never been on a hike that I didn’t research the trail first.  There are so many apps that can help us.  We can learn distance, terrain, elevation and how difficult the trail is.  We can even read about other people’s experience on the trail.

Phones with GPS can track our distance and let us know how many more miles to our destination.  We can research the weather for the day and what to expect along the trail.  Hikers know how important it is to learn as much as we can before we step one foot on the trailhead.

So what about God’s path for our lives?

Paths = Calling

Learning about our calling is just as important as learning about our next hiking adventure.  Sometimes these paths are not so clear. We find ourselves on a path and we are not sure how far it goes or the destination at the end.  In fact, sometimes, we don't know how we got there in the first place. Our calling requires us to trust the “trail guide”. We have to be able to lean in and hear His voice.  He wants us to take one step with him and then listen for the next direction.  Take a step and listen.  Our paths are all unique.  The terrain isn’t all the same and our destinations vary.  The only thing that we all have in common is we follow the SAME guide.  Our guide is trustworthy and never leaves us.  David states in verse 10: “All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness…”God doesn’t want to meet us at the destination.  He wants to go with us on the journey.  He wants to travel alongside us as we navigate the next turn and crest the next hill.  He wants to share the sunsets and the rainstorms that we encounter on our journey. He wants to sit by the stream and climb to the next peak with us. God wants to share our highs and lows.  He wants to share our struggles and fears.  God wants to share our joy and the times of dancing.  God wants to walk with us on our own unique journey. Won’t you join him right now on your path? There is no need to delay His fellowship in pursuit of a destination.
